Robert V. Macklin President, Chief Executive Officer
On July 12, 1999 Robert V. Macklin became the ninth President of The Milford Bank.

Macklin has over 40 years experience in community banking. Prior to joining The Milford Bank, Macklin was President and Chief Executive Officer of The Village Bank & Trust Company, a community bank with offices in Ridgefield, Westport, Wilton, Danbury and New Milford, Connecticut.
Macklin has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Villanova University and a Master of Science degree in administration from Western Connecticut State University. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking (sponsored by the American Bankers Association) and the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Macklin is a past Chairman of the Connecticut Bankers Association and past President of the Milford Rotary Club. He is a member of the Administrative Committee of the Mutual Institutions Council of the American Bankers Association and a member of the Association’s Task Force on Regulatory Reform. Macklin is a Corporator of Milford Hospital.
